In the heart of Muslim Maternity and Children’s Hospital (MMCH), the DNB Pediatrics & Neonatology program stands as a testament to the hospital’s dedication to nurturing young lives and building bright futures. Focusing on pediatric medicine and neonatal care, this program prepares students to become champions for children’s health.
Led by esteemed faculty members such as Dr. Syed Ershad Mustafa and Dr. Zainab, MMCH offers a rigorous curriculum encompassing primary and secondary aspects of pediatric care. Students engage in comprehensive training, honing their diagnosis, treatment, and compassionate patient care skills.
Central to the program is MMCH’s 40-bed Level 3 tertiary care NICU, equipped with cutting-edge technology and staffed by experienced professionals. We also have 15 bedded level 2 PICU, pediatrics emergency unit and OPD. all newborns are screened for Hearing by an audiologist. Here, students gain invaluable hands-on experience, learning to navigate complex medical scenarios and provide lifesaving interventions for newborns.
